SAMARPAM SEWA'S WOMEN EMPOWERMENT & CHILD PROGRAM

Under Samarpan Mahila Sashaktikaran Abhiyaan our efforts are basically aimed at Empowerment and Self Realization for Women. Healthy and Educated women are building base for any society. But in Indian scenario the situation of women, especially the rural women in very fragile. Various programmes are carried like Seminars, lectures etc at village level so as to educate women about about their rights, their duties, personal hygiene, child care, communicable diseases and their preventive measures.

Free Medical Checkups are organised especially for women. In India the Mother Mortality Rate after the birth of child is very high. We aim to bring down this rate. Nutritional values of certain food items and concept of Balanced diet is disclosed to them.

Doctors and Workers at Samarpan teach women about advantages of small families and in order to achieve the small family, they are being taught about various birth control measures.
